Lore file / programmes
Secure Your Soul
Secure Your Soul is Arasaka's flagship engram-preservation programme: modified Soulkiller creates the construct, Mikoshi stores it, and the Relic project secretly pushes toward re-implantation.
Source trace / documented lore
The central claim matches the linked lore sources. Archive styling is presentation, not additional canon.
Lore trace
The genius of Secure Your Soul is not technical. It is branding.
Arasaka took technology associated with forced capture, digital imprisonment and dead netrunners, then sold its respectable form to the people wealthy enough to treat death as a service problem.
The public offer is simple: create a digital copy of your mind so that, after biological death, the construct can still communicate with the living.
Behind that promise is the same technology chain running through the rest of this archive.
What the client is actually buying
A modified Soulkiller process creates the personality construct. Mikoshi stores it. Arasaka controls the infrastructure around it.
That alone is already more than a memorial recording. The product preserves a construct that can answer back.
But internal material makes the programme darker. Secure Your Soul documentation treats VIP names as sensitive corporate information and refers to additional functions — including data extraction, copying and construct modification — as material clients are not meant to know about.
The service does not just preserve valuable people. It creates valuable data from valuable people.
The medical layer
Medical Report 11 is useful because it makes the programme look routine.
Clients are listed by number. Procedures succeed, fail, get repeated, produce anomalies, generate constructs that can be deleted, and generate constructs that can be quarantined for research.
The language is clinical because the extraordinary thing has already been normalized. A personality construct can have a lifecycle managed like any other corporate asset.
The real objective
Secure Your Soul does not stop at talking to the dead.
Anders Hellman's Relic work extends the programme toward a more aggressive objective: put the construct into another organic body. RELIC 2.0 documentation ties the prototype directly to Soulkiller-derived code and describes re-implantation as the project goal.
That is the line between digital afterlife and practical immortality.
Arasaka wanted to cross it.

What the archive thinks it recovered
The block below is written as recovered Arasaka-era data. Corruption and Keeper annotations are interface fiction unless the sourced lore trace explicitly confirms the claim.
