METHOD / SOURCING / CANON

Archive protocol // public method

Readable lore first. Interface fiction second.

SoulkillerArchive.com is an unofficial, non-commercial Cyberpunk lore project. The visual premise imagines a recovered network archive; the lore underneath is kept separate, sourced and labelled so atmosphere never has to masquerade as canon.

01 // DOCUMENTED LORE

Use the source trail.

Core claims are supported by the links attached to the record. The archive presentation may dramatize the interface, but it does not add new events to the canon claim.

02 // DISPUTED LORE

Keep contradictions visible.

Cyberpunk intentionally contains unreliable memories, retellings and source conflicts. When important details disagree, the site marks the file as disputed rather than flattening the conflict into one definitive version.

03 // ARCHIVE FICTION

Atmosphere is labelled.

Keeper notes, synthetic machine records and encrypted shards are optional in-universe presentation. They are visually distinct, excluded from the default lore index, and not intended to be indexed as factual lore pages.

04 // FAN PROJECT STATUS

Unofficial, non-commercial, and clearly separated from CD PROJEKT RED.

This is an unofficial fan work and is not approved or endorsed by CD PROJEKT RED. The site is free to read, has no paywall, and does not present itself as an official Cyberpunk product or service.

The project follows CD PROJEKT RED's published fan-content guidance as its operating baseline. The archive's original interface code, diagrams and favicon are presentation work for this site; Cyberpunk names, setting material and other underlying rights remain with their respective owners.

Cyberpunk around the information, not over it.

Primary navigation, body copy, search, source links and controls stay level and readable. Rotated text, extreme perspective and corrupted telemetry are reserved for decorative layers. If a visitor needs it to understand the lore, it does not get sacrificed for the HUD aesthetic.

Every lore file should be independently checkable.

Each record carries its own provenance links. As the project grows, source quality should move toward the strongest available references: primary game material, tabletop material and official publications where practical, with community wikis used as navigational references rather than invisible authority.
